Perfection indeed
Today is the 12th anniversary of one of the most successful pop albums of all time, Millennium. The Backstreet Boys released the album the same day (5/18/1999) and it sold over a MILLION copies in its first week of its release. As a Backstreet fan, I must say that this is one of my favorite BSB albums because it had songs that relate to my feelings and moods. Whenever I’m down or going through stuff, I listen to Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely because the lyrics talk about being lonely and heartache, & it explains what I’m feeling now. Also, when I’m happy & proud of my parent or grandparent (s), I can also listen to The Perfect Fan (written by B-Rok). The song makes me tear up because it’s about my mommy and how she makes me grow and be the person that I am now. & also my favorite song out of the entire albul is Spanish Eyes because of the guitar intro (Howie & Nick’s voice gives me the chills). To me, this album is not only an ALBUM, it’s my life story and I can listen to it for hours and hours & never get tired of it. Happy 12th anniversary Millennium, hopefully there will be a deluxe album in the works. Lol.
